be lovelier here in California! I am so blessed

to be out of the snow and cold of Alberta!

When Nature Collides

I came across many lovely public domain photos and 

decided to blend two of them together... "colliding" into one ;)  

I like the effect of this and it inspired me to write these words 

about friendship. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all humanity joined 

together as one? It would be truly beautiful... no fighting, no wars, 

no violence or hatred... just a blend of love and perfect harmony.

Like a Tree

Like a tree

We are planted

We establish our roots

Emerging into the world

As we grow

We branch out

Unfold and blossom

Exposing our souls

Baring our hearts

Reaching out for warmth

Bracing against the cold

Taking abuse from the elements

Losing ourselves

Until we heal

And come back

To grow some more

Reach for the stars

Make life new again

Always hopeful 

Getting stronger

To face tomorrow

We are strong

Like a tree.

Ocean Memories

There's just something about the ocean that

always beckons me. I love walking along

the shore, collecting seashells and stones,

the occasional driftwood. 

Sitting on the beach and watching the 

waves, feeling the cool breeze upon my face,

basking in the sun's warmth. The sounds

of the waves crashing to shore, the seagulls 

and the sounds all around... it's just like

heaven to me. Have a very enjoyable

weekend, no matter what makes you feeling

a calmer place inside your soul... it's good 

for you. Smile and enjoy life...
