A New Poem _ The Sunshine of Sweet Memories

Hello all! 

I can't believe it's Autumn already...time once again for

the busy season and festivities! Let the leaves fall

and enjoy the colors! It's such a beautiful time of year!

I hope you enjoyed your summer and had some

fun and relaxing times to share with your loved ones.

My health hasn't been so great lately and it leaves me without 

the inspiration to do much of anything! I apologize for my absence! 

It's been quite a long time since I've posted on my blog

and thought I better do something! So, yesterday, as I opened

the curtain for some sunlight, I felt such comfort

and warmth as the sun's rays hit my face. I thought of how calm 

and relaxing it is to sit in the sun and I shut my eyes... taking a

deep breath in... these words seemed to flow freely

and I came up with a little poem...

I hope you enjoy! 

The Sunshine of Sweet Memories

The sun kisses my face 

With tenderness, warmth and grace

While I soak it's soothing rays 

Into my darkened soul 

Memories flood my mind

Of a life once spent with you 

Moments linger of having you near

It has me missing you more, my dear

Each passing day, feeling so much colder

Life goes on, as we grow older

A tear slowly rolls down my face, 

Washing the suns rays away

Reminding me of past mistakes

And what I would give, 

To have you back in my arms one day

For one more kiss upon your lips

One more time to feel such bliss

A last chance to hold you close 

And lie beside you

Never letting you go 

My love for you will never cease to exist.

For it's you, my darling, that will forever hold my heart,

I will not love again, I can only grieve

Until this emptiness in my heart begins to leave...

I am here waiting.

Forever, waiting ~

Thought Of You - A Poem and Art

Hello, wow, it's been a long time since I've posted

here! I have been dealing with some health issues

and I haven't been feeling so creative lately!  I'll

get back into the swing of things soon... I did a bit

of crocheting the past week or so... but nothing

too great to post here. Unfinished projects...that's all

I needed... lol ...I'm an expert at those! 

Below is a new art I made the other day. 

Below this photo is a poem I wrote quite

some time ago that I had not published yet...

Thought of You

I thought of you today

Like most days

You always cross my mind

How could I know

Love would be so blind

My heart will never be the same

I only have myself to blame

For falling for someone like you

Who would only rip my heart in two

Now the pieces left cannot be repaired

Love opportunities are there

But it has me running scared

Trying to keep my mind busy

But the tears still flow

I remember the love

That you once had shown

Making me feel so good inside

Until you crushed my pride

Took the very heart of me

And broke me down piece by piece

I am not the same woman I once was

I cannot find the smile I had

Each day I try so hard not to cry

But no matter how hard I try

All I can do is wonder why

Love is gone

All I want is to be free

Free from these memories

That keep killing me

New Year Wishes - A New Poem

Christmas has come and gone...and I am behind on my

posts here! I hope you all had a very wonderful and blessed

Christmas this year.... :)

Here we are, about to start a new year... for some it has

already started. I would like to wish everyone a safe,

happy and blessed New Year's Eve and New Year!

May you always have love, peace and joy in your heart...

New Year Wishes 

As we say goodbye to another year

I want to thank my friends that I hold so dear

You've been my rock through some unsettling days

Your kindness and love leave me truly amazed

I think of you as family that I truly love

Your gift of friendship was sent from above

My wonderful friends I wish you the best

Having you as my friend, I am truly blessed.

May the New Year bring you much love and good health

Many blessings of joy, peace, and prosperous wealth.

May you find comfort and warmth from those that you love.

Plenty of food, happy times and blessed light from above.

Be safe in your travels and good times ahead.

Each night, sleep with blissful dreams in a comfortable bed.

Loneliness - A new poem

Loneliness

I wear a mask of smiles

Inside the tears rain down

My heart can't be unbroken

Seems I'll never lose this frown

People say to live in the moment

But that's a big mistake

One must think about the future

And the decisions that we make

They say to forgive and forget

Move forward and don't look back

Yet somehow no matter how hard we try

Hearts continuously broken

Eventually fade to black

Loneliness is my only world now

All I have are the memories from days gone by

I'm lost in a world of silence

No one seems to notice the tears I cry

Wanting to break free from this hell I endure

Maybe life will be better next time

All I can do is hope and pray

That one day my heart will be fine

A Night Of Fright - A poetry video

Halloween is the night you'll catch a fright

Terrified by bats and vampire bites

Shadows lurking down the darkest alleys

Werewolves are howling in and around the valleys

Monsters creeping around every dark corner

Anticipating screams of bone-chilling horror

Zombies marching forward in a slow paced rhythm

Searching for brains in their demented prison

Haunted houses looming amid spooky sounds 

Doors creak open While your heart quickly pounds

All ghouls and goblins running around the street

Looking for tricks or sweet treats to eat

What will you do on this Halloween night?

Quick, look behind you, there's a spider in sight!

Forever Man - A Poetry Video

This is a new poem I wrote this morning... I've been

putting the video together and didn't quite have a poem

that fit it... I decided to write a new one and found the

perfect music (mood) to accompany the visuals.

Myspace Profiles

This morning I discovered that Myspace has gone from

 "old Myspace" to "new Myspace" without any warning,

which means that my profiles have been wiped out. All

of my custom designed pages are gone, as well as my

blogs, posts, videos and more... I had started a

new account months ago, but I haven't put much up on

that account at all. The 10,000 plus friends are missing

on the new profile. I will not be working on this new site

because it's just too much work for me at this time in my

personal life. Some of my poetry and videos, as well as

other works of mine are posted here on this blog and

Update

Hello friends. This month is half over... it's amazing 

how days, months and years seem to fly by so quickly. 

There are so many projects I would like to do and from 

where to start has been a difficult decision for me. 

First of all, I need to get everything organized in my home. 

I have some serious work ahead of me... not so great when 

all I want to do is create more projects!  lol  It has to be done 

however... Spring is almost here and with that comes 

the cleaning frenzy!

Thursday Thoughts of Love

What a beautiful day today, still cold and snow on the 

ground, yet it's soooo wonderfully sunny!! Makes the

snow look like a sea of diamonds. 

Spring is coming soon and thoughts of love and warmth

fill the air, as it seems to build up some hope for things

to blossom, refresh, grow and last. 

What a beautiful season!

Love is such a beautiful thing to have in our lives.

Everyone wishes for a special, deep and

shared love with someone you truly connect

with. Sometimes we make many mistakes,

but it will eventually lead to a true love,

one that seems as if it's heaven sent. Two

souls meeting and connecting in a heartbeat.

The feelings of comfort, joy, laughter, happiness,

hope, dreams and most of all LOVE...

what a wonderful feeling. So spring-like...

so happy, beautiful, blossoming, and

precious...something delicate as the

newly formed buds of Spring.

Three Little Words

Love came out of nowhere when I least expected 

From the instant we met I felt so connected

You came along sweetly to capture my heart

From that moment on, I never wished to part 

As if by magic or sent from heaven above

My heart and soul were captured in an undying love

Love like this, so beautiful and precious is rare

Something made of hopes, dreams and many night's of prayer

As if years have passed by, our conversations fly

Sharing thoughts and emotions, I no longer cry

Loving and laughing into the wee hours of night   

Each heart surrounded by a brilliance of light

Glowing with a true love's passion and fire

Fulfilling the need of each hidden desire

A love that feels comfortable and so right from the start

With this love that we share, nothing can ever tear us apart

A love like this, so beautiful and true

Was God's will and intention for me and you.

This poem was written, just for you,

With three little words to say that "I love you"

A World of Peace

A year of memories are put in a drawer

Some good and others we have no answers for

A year of blessings, a year of sad loss

A year of disasters at someone's cost

We pray for a new world that we can be proud of

While raising our children in an everlasting circle of love

If we walk hand in hand, joining oceans and land

We can defeat the evil we've come to withstand

Emerging as one family under our sun

Creating unity in a world that's become so undone

We can live without hatred, bitterness and war

We can make this planet even better than before

Stars Shining Bright - A poem

Stars Shining Bright

Our Father will open His heavenly gates

Embracing each beautiful soul that awaits

Tears gently falling from soft clouds above

Surrounding each precious angel with love

Holding them close in His loving arms

Keeping them safe from any more harm

Until the day arrives when families reunite once again

Loving memories shall be cherished in our hearts until then

You are loved by the world and you will never be forgotten.

May all precious angels rest in peace and keep 

their families comforted with their loving hearts, 

beautiful souls, and the stars shining bright as their smiles.
