Better Days
Sometimes life keeps bringing you down
You feel it beating you to the ground
You're reaching out for help, yet nobody's around
Your heart is screaming without a sound
At times like this you must try to remember
The hardships will pass, things will get better
There's always a new day to start over again
Life will get brighter, the difficulties will end.
Keep your head held high and show your pride
Show the world that you won't cry
You've left the past behind to die
Move forward and let your bright light shine
Life gets better when you believe it can
Give a smile and shake someone's hand
Spread the love you have inside
And you will see your tears have dried
