A Better Place

I'd like to paint the sky a different shade of blue

One like no other, colored especially for you.

I'd like to take the sun and hold it in my hands

Shape it like a heart and place it back again.

I'd like to make the world a better place to live

With each of us opening our hearts to truly give

It's love that this world really needs

Not war, starvation, poverty or greed

We need a place that's safe for our children

The environment, animals, man and woman.

Reach out and help someone in need

Make the human race a loving breed

Reach out and touch a heart with love

And you will shine like the stars above

Spread your wings and shine your light

Guiding the way for a future so bright.

The more love you give, the better life you live
